Our Customer Delivery Driver rate of pay starts from £13.35 an hour; this increases to £14.56 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

It's our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but we also have opportunities for those seeking fewer hours (minimum 12). We would love to hear from you regardless of your preferred hours.

The table shows the periods of time during which we'd like you to be available to work—these are the availability windows. We will schedule your hours within these times, with 3 weeks' notice of your shifts. We support flexibility; if your available times closely match but are not exactly the advertised times, we still encourage you to apply.

Customers are at the heart of everything we do. As the face of Tesco on the road, you'll deliver from Lands' End to John O'Groats, meeting customers in their homes daily. This role is more than driving; it's about helping others and delivering excellent service with a smile.

The role is hands-on, physical, and varied. No two shifts are the same, and you'll have support from Managers and colleagues at the base. Whether you're seeking flexibility, stability, or a career change, everyone is welcome at Tesco.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the van and trays are clean and organized.
• Maintaining a tidy delivery area and picking up litter.
• Washing trays as required.
• Loading the van and checking its roadworthiness.
• Communicating with customers about order changes and substitutions.
• Handling products carefully and delivering within the scheduled time slot.
• Calling customers if arriving early or if running late.

Minimum requirements:

• Build positive relationships with colleagues.

• Share ideas for improvement.
• Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving license (full or automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
