Are you looking to enhance your career with the European leader in supply and distribution of building materials? Jewson, alongside its sister brands form the STARK Group and we are looking for enthusiastic and committed drivers to join our team. As a customer delivery driver and the face of the company, we'll need you to safely deliver building materials to our customers with a professional and friendly approach.

Every day is different, from the number of drops you'll do, to where you will be delivering. You'll be loading and unloading, operating the crane and supporting team members when needed, offering you job satisfaction in an incredibly varied role. As an Area Driver, you will play a key role in supporting our network by covering staff absences within a designated region. Your base branch will be Keynsham, and you'll provide cover across a cluster of locations, including Clevedon, multiple Bristol branches, Radstock, Frome, Yate, and Bath. From time to time, we may also ask you to support additional branches in Chippenham, Swindon, Weston-Super-Mare, Devizes, and Stroud. In recognition of the travel involved, you will receive travel pay in addition to your basic salary.

Responsibilities and Requirements include:

  • A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
  • A valid CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card
  • Whilst multidrop experience is handy, it's not a necessity
  • Social working hours between 07:00 - 17:00

  • ALLMI accredited vehicle mounted crane licence
