Our Customer Delivery Driver rate of pay starts from £13.35 an hour; this increases to £14.56 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

It’s our policy to offer new colleagues joining us a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you’d like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too and would still love to hear from you.

The table shows the periods of time in the week we’d like you to be available to work – the availability windows. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you’ll have 3 weeks’ notice of exactly when your shifts will be. We are happy to support flexibility for our colleagues, therefore if the times you’re available to work match closely but not exactly to the times we are advertising, we’d still love to hear from you. Our Customer Delivery Drivers get the opportunity to meet and talk to different customers in their homes every day. For most of the day you’ll feel like your own boss, delivering to your customers but there is always a team of Managers and colleagues back at base ready to support you when you need them.

Pay and Hours

Our Customer Delivery Driver rate of pay starts from £13.35 an hour; this increases to £14.56 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

We will schedule your hours within your availability windows, with 3 weeks’ notice of shifts. This role is hands-on, physical, and varied. No two shifts are the same, and customers seek help in many ways. You’ll be mostly independent, delivering to your customers, but always supported by managers and colleagues back at base.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the van and trays are clean and organized
  • Keep the backyard tidy and pick up litter
  • Wash trays as part of the tray wash process
  • Load the van and check for roadworthiness
  • Communicate with customers about order changes and substitutions
  • Handle products carefully and deliver as if they were your own
  • Explain substitution charges to customers
  • Deliver within the scheduled time slot
  • Call customers before early arrivals and if running late
Requirements
  • Build good relationships with colleagues

  • Share ideas for store improvements
  • Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving license (full or automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points
