Our Customer Delivery Driver rate of pay starts from £13.35 an hour; this increases to £14.56 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

It's our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you'd like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12), we have opportunities for this too and would love to hear from you.

The table shows the periods of time in the week we'd like you to be available to work—the availability windows. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, with 3 weeks' notice of your shifts. Customers are at the heart of everything we do. As the face of Tesco on the road, we deliver from Lands' End to John O'Groats. Our Drivers meet and talk to customers daily, making this role about more than just driving: it's about helping others and delivering great service with a smile.

This role is hands-on, physical, and varied. No two shifts are the same. You'll feel like your own boss, delivering to customers, with a team of Managers and colleagues supporting you.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the van and trays are clean and organized.
• Leaving the yard clean and picking up litter.
• Washing trays as required.
• Loading the van and checking its roadworthiness.
• Communicating with customers about orders, substitutions, and refunds.
• Handling products/deliveries responsibly.
• Delivering within the customer's time slot.
• Calling customers before early arrivals and the store if late.

Requirements:

• Build relationships with colleagues to foster team spirit.
• Be warm and welcoming with customers and colleagues.
• Respond quickly to customer needs and embrace change.
• Be energetic and driven to exceed expectations.
• Share ideas for store improvements.
• Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA Driving license (Full or Automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
