Pay

Our Customer Delivery Driver rate of pay starts from £13.35 an hour; this increases to £14.56 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

Hours entitlement

It's our policy to offer new colleagues joining us a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you would like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too.

Role availability and scheduling

The table shows the periods of time in the week we would like you to be available to work - the availability windows. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you'll have 3 weeks' notice of exactly when your shifts will be. Responsibilities

You will be responsible for delivering your part of our customer shopping trip by:

• Ensuring the van and trays are clean and tidy
• Leaving the back yard clean, tidy and free of rubbish; picking up litter as needed
• Washing trays as part of the tray wash process
• Loading the van as required and checking the van for roadworthiness
• Talking to the customer about changes to their order, including substitutions or short codes, offering refunds for items they are unhappy with
• Taking care of products/deliveries as if they were your own
• Explaining to the customer that substitutions will not incur extra charges
• Delivering during the customer's time slot
• Calling the customer before arriving if early
• Calling the store/centre if running 30 minutes or more late

Requirements

• Be energetic and driven to deliver beyond expectations and balance home and work
• Share ideas with your Manager and colleagues on store improvements
• A valid UK/EU/EEA Driving licence (Full or Automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points
