Our Customer Delivery Driver rate of pay starts from £13.35/hour; this increases to £14.56 inside the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location.

We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours/week, with options for fewer hours (minimum 12). We schedule shifts within your available windows, with 3 weeks' notice.

Customers are at the heart of everything we do. As the face of Tesco on the road, you’ll meet and talk to customers in their homes daily. This role involves more than driving: helping others and delivering great service with a smile.

This role is hands-on, physical, and varied. No two shifts are the same. You will be delivering to customers, with support from managers and colleagues back at base.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring van and trays are clean and organized
• Keeping the delivery area tidy and picking up litter
• Washing trays as part of the process
• Loading the van and checking its roadworthiness
• Communicating with customers about order changes and substitutions
• Handling products carefully and treating deliveries as your own
• Delivering within the scheduled time slots

Requirements:

• Build positive relationships with colleagues

• Be energetic and driven to exceed expectations
• Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving license (full or automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points
