About the role

Availability Window

Pay and Hours

Rate starts from £12.92/hr, increasing to £14.05 inside the M25. Additional payments may apply. We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours weekly, with options for fewer hours (minimum 12). Shifts are scheduled with 3 weeks' notice. Flexibility is supported to match your availability.

About Tesco and the role

As a Customer Delivery Driver, you will deliver from Lands’ End to John O’Groats, meeting customers at their homes. The role involves more than driving: delivering great service with a smile, helping customers, and managing deliveries efficiently. You will be supported by managers and colleagues, with flexibility to suit your lifestyle.

Responsibilities

• Ensure van and trays are clean and organized
• Maintain a tidy delivery yard and pick up litter
• Wash trays as needed
• Load the van and check roadworthiness
• Communicate with customers about order changes, substitutions, and refunds
• Handle products with care
• Explain substitution charges to customers
• Deliver within the scheduled time slot
• Call customers if early or late

Requirements
