Our Customer Delivery Driver rate of pay starts from £13.35 an hour; this increases to £14.56 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

It's our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, with options to work fewer hours (minimum 12). We are flexible and would love to hear from you.

The table shows the preferred working times, and your shifts will be scheduled within these periods. You will receive 3 weeks' notice of your shifts. We support flexibility, so if your available times are close but not exact, we still welcome your application. Read more.

Customers are at the heart of everything we do. As the face of Tesco on the road, you will deliver from Lands' End to John O'Groats, meeting customers in their homes daily. This role involves more than driving; it's about helping others and providing excellent service with a smile.

This role is hands-on, physical, and varied. No two shifts are the same, and customers may need help in different ways. You'll mostly be your own boss, delivering to customers, with support from managers and colleagues back at the depot.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the van and trays are clean and organized
• Keep the backyard tidy and pick up litter
• Wash trays as required
• Load the van and check for roadworthiness
• Communicate with customers about order changes, substitutions, and refunds
• Handle products carefully and deliver as if they were your own
• Explain substitution charges and deliver within the scheduled time slot
• Call customers if early and notify store if running late

Requirements:
