Pay and Hours

Our Customer Delivery Driver rate of pay starts from £13.35 an hour; this increases to £14.56 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week for new colleagues, with options to work fewer hours (minimum 12) if preferred.

Customers are at the heart of everything we do. As the face of Tesco on the road, we deliver from Lands’ End to John O’Groats. This role involves more than driving: it’s about helping others and delivering great service with a smile.

This role is hands-on, physical, and full of variety. No two shifts are the same, and customers seek help in many ways. You’ll mostly be your own boss, delivering to customers, with support from Managers and colleagues back at the base.
