Our Customer Delivery Driver rate of pay starts from £13.35 an hour; this increases to £14.56 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours weekly, with options for fewer hours (minimum 12). We schedule your shifts within your available times, with 3 weeks’ notice.

As the face of Tesco out on the road, you will deliver orders, meet customers, and provide excellent service. This role involves physical activity, variety, and independence, supported by a team of managers and colleagues.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the van and trays are clean and organized
• Leaving the delivery area tidy and picking up litter
• Washing trays and checking van roadworthiness
• Loading the van and communicating with customers about orders and substitutions
• Delivering during scheduled time slots and communicating delays

Requirements include:

• Building positive relationships with colleagues and customers
• Responding quickly to customer needs and embracing change
• Being energetic, driven, and adaptable
• Holding a valid UK/EU/EEA driving license (full or automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points
