Job summary

Asda seeks a Customer Delivery Driver in Sheffield to join our store team on a part-time basis. You’ll be at the heart of the customer experience, loading your van and delivering orders with a smile.

You’ll keep your van clean, assist with online order picking when busy, and work afternoons on a 15-hour week. A valid UK driving licence and excellent communication help you excel.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence (full or automatic) for 12 months with up to 6 penalty points.
• Experience in customer service is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload the delivery van and ensure it is clean and ready for the next run.
• Deliver orders to customers at their homes or specified locations with a friendly, helpful attitude.
• Assist with picking and packing online orders when the shop is busy.

Whether you’re loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile. When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic – we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.

• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings – no two days are the same.
