Job summary

ASDA is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to join our Taunton store and support our delivery operations. You will load your van, deliver to regular customers’ doors, and ensure a friendly, efficient service with a smile.

When not on the road, you’ll keep the van clean and assist with online orders. This part-time role offers training and opportunities to grow within a busy retail team in Taunton.

Qualifications

• A valid UK driving licence (full or automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Friendly and helpful approach to customer service.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Good communication skills and a team mindset.
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings - no two days are the same.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload the van and deliver orders to customers' doors with a smile.
• Support the team during busy periods, including picking and packing online orders.
• Keep the van clean and well-maintained for safety and efficiency.
• Provide great customer service and represent ASDA positively on every shift.

Whether you're loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you'll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile. When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic - we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.
