Job summary

ASDA is hiring a Customer Delivery Driver in Eastgate, offering a part-time permanent role with a 22.5 hour week. You will load, deliver to customers, and maintain vehicle readiness while providing friendly, reliable service. Training supplied to ensure you meet safety and customer standards.

Qualifications

• A valid UK Driving Licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
• A friendly and helpful approach to customer service.

• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings – no two days are the same.

Responsibilities

• Load and deliver orders using the company van.
• Deliver to regular customers with a smile and provide great customer service.
• Keep the van clean and ready for the next delivery; training provided.
• Help the team during busy periods, including picking and packing online orders.

Whether you’re loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile. When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic – we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.
