Job summary

Asda is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver for our Swanley store. This part-time, permanent role involves afternoons shifts, loading and delivering to customers, and ensuring van readiness for the next run.

You will be handling deliveries to customers’ homes and supporting the store team as needed, including helping with online order picking and packing. A driving licence with up to six penalty points is required, along with a positive, customer-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• A valid UK Driving Licence (Full or Automatic) with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Excellent customer service skills and clear communication.
• Willingness to work weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Load the van and ensure it is ready for delivery.
• Deliver orders to regular customers and new customers.
• Keep the van clean and maintained for safety and efficiency.
• Assist the team during busy periods, including online order picking/packing.

Whether you’re loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile. When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic – we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.

• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings – no two days are the same.
