A family-owned department store group in North East England seeks a Customer Delivery Driver to support their distribution center. This role requires a clean driving license and customer service skills. You'll deliver and assemble large goods while maintaining safe driving practices. We have an exciting opportunity for a warehouse colleague / commercial driver to support our Killingworth Distribution Centre during the busiest time of the year as a Customer Delivery Driver!
Please note that this is a fixed-term opportunity until the end of December 2025.
Working hours: 40 hours – 5 x 8-hour shifts per week, during the hours of 8 am to 5 pm.
As a Customer Delivery Driver, you will provide outstanding service to every customer by aiding in the delivery and, if required, assembling of large goods into customers’ homes.
You will be a professional and courteous road user, ensuring legal compliance and adherence to driving and working time directive regulations.
This role will cover the busiest period of the year within the Home Deliver team, with additional deliveries when required. When not driving, the successful candidate will perform warehouse-based tasks.
To be successful, you must have proof of a clean, valid C1 License, a Digital Tachograph Card, and CPC Qualification.
