Job summary

Asda Stores Ltd is hiring a Part-time Customer Delivery Driver in Ashford to support in-store service and home deliveries. You will work afternoons, about 19.5 hours per week, and drive customers' orders to their doors with a smile.

You will load the van, deliver to customers, and ensure the vehicle is maintained. Training is provided, and you may assist with online orders during peak times.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Driving Licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Friendly and helpful approach to customer service.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Good communication skills and a team mindset.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload the van and deliver to regular customers.
• Deliver products right to customers' front doors with a smile.
• Keep the van clean and road-ready; training provided.
• When busy, assist the team with picking and packing online orders.

Whether you’re loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile. When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic - we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.
