Job summary

Asda is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver in Abbey Park to join our store team. You will be delivering products right to customers’ doors and also assisting with van upkeep and loading for smooth operations. Training will be provided for van maintenance and delivery processes.

Hours are 19.5 per week on afternoons, in a part-time permanent role. You’ll be expected to work weekends and evenings, bringing a friendly, customer-first attitude and strong teamwork to the everyday retail operation.

Qualifications

• A friendly and helpful approach to customer service.
• Good communication skills and a team mindset.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings - no two days are the same.
• A valid UK Driving Licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Loading your van and delivering to regular customers with a smile.
• Keep your van clean and fit for the next delivery.
• Help the team during busy periods by picking and packing online orders.

Whether you're loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you'll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile. When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic - we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.
