This is your opportunity to join our Midlands region as a Customer Care Technician, based out of our Tamworth office. You’ll be the face of Bloor Homes post-completion, delivering a professional and efficient maintenance and repair service that ensures our customers remain delighted with their new homes.

It’s an exciting time for anyone when they move into their brand new home. They want everything to be absolutely perfect, and so do we. That commitment to customer satisfaction underpins our success so if you share in our belief, get pleasure from overcoming issues and take genuine pride in your work to ensure the post-purchase experience is positive as possible, then the skies the limit. Within your role you will visit our customers’ new homes and carry out any minor remedial work that’s needed, understanding the importance of a polite and considerate attitude and leaving their home as clean and tidy as you found it. You will also oversee any works undertaken by subcontractors, ensuring that it is delivered to the highest quality.

We believe that if a jobs worth doing then it is worth doing well and are looking for someone with the same exacting standards. A keen eye for detail is therefore essential, along with excellent communication skills and a friendly, helpful approach. In addition, you’ll need to be well-organised and self-motivated with experience of the construction industry and a full driving licence. Above all else though, it is important that you genuinely care about every customer and are always willing to go the extra mile to deliver an exceptional service.

A Brief Overview Of Your Duties

As a Customer Care Technician, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Providing maintenance and repair services on new properties to the required standard.
  • Ensuring sub-contractors’ work meets our high standards.
  • Representing Bloor Homes professionally when entering customers’ homes.
  • Using dust protection and cleaning up after work to maintain a tidy environment.
  • Being punctual and respectful at all times.
  • Managing paperwork and emails related to your tasks.
  • Keeping customers informed about the progress of ongoing work.
  • Maintaining company tools and van in good condition.
  • Attending relevant meetings and supporting the wider Customer Care team

What You’ll Need To Succeed

We’re looking for someone who is proactive, customer-focused, and takes pride in their work. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working in new build housing
  • Trade background
  • Experience in maintenance of properties and snagging
  • A Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices.
  • Familiarity with modern materials and techniques.
  • A punctual, well-organised, and self-motivated approach.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and adapt to change
  • A tactful, approachable, and customer-focused attitude
