At Aegon, we help our customers build confident foundations to navigate the ups and downs of modern living – giving them one less thing to worry about.

The Team Manager’s role is to lead, engage, coach, and develop your team, delivering exceptional service to customers and peers alike.

You’ll be responsible for making your team a great place to work through inspirational and aspirational leadership, guiding your team to success.

You’ll also need to demonstrate a strong knowledge and application of risk management for your team and business area. Planning, prioritisation, and organisation of workload and objectives are key to your success.

Key Skills:

  • Leadership: You are an experienced people manager.
  • Communication: You can confidently and clearly share your message and ensure understanding of others.
  • Adaptability: You are flexible and agile, able to adapt your management style to get the best out of your team.
  • Resilience: You keep your eye on the end goal and take others on the journey to success.

What We Need From You:

Previous experience in a similar environment is essential, with evidence of successful people management. A strong awareness of operational risk management and continuous improvement is also required. A background in financial services is helpful but not vital. Managing large teams in a regulated environment is a plus.

What Do You Get In Return?

  • 34 days leave per year (including bank holidays)
  • A non-contributory pension between 8%-12%
  • A discretionary bonus based on personal and company performance.

We support your personal wellbeing with healthcare, dental, holiday trading, cycle to work scheme, and gym memberships. Additional benefits include life assurance, critical illness cover, enhanced parental leave, retail discount vouchers, subsidised restaurants, and online GP appointments.

We serve a diverse, ever-changing world. It's tough, but we work tirelessly to leave things better than we find them. If that sounds appealing, click the "Apply" button.

Face-to-face interviews will be held during the week commencing 21st July 2025.
