Customer Care Representative – Role Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and detail-oriented Customer Care Representative to join a global professional services business based south of Manchester. This is a key role within a busy customer care team, where you’ll play a vital part in delivering exceptional service and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. From managing customer accounts to resolving queries and processing orders – this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.

Customer Care Representative – Key Responsibilities:

  1. Process customer orders via telephone and email
  2. Provide proactive support and solutions to customer queries
  3. Liaise with internal logistics teams to manage service updates in real-time
  4. Investigate and report on high-level customer events
  5. Compile and submit KPI data for internal and external stakeholders
  6. Set up and maintain accurate customer account information
  7. Work closely with Account Managers across various parts of the business.

What We’re Looking For:

  1. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a customer service role – essential
  2. Confident communicator with proven call handling experience
  3. Strong written communication and problem-solving ability
  4. High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  5. Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  6. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
