The interview is an absolutely vital part of our hiring process. It helps us understand your Values and Attitudes and whether you’d be a great fit at McDonald’s. We may ask for examples of times you have worked as part of a team and how you contributed to that team. We hire for qualities and potential, rather than just qualifications.

How often you are paid varies by whether you work in a franchised or company-owned restaurant. Typically, pay can be every 2 or 4 weeks for hourly staff, and monthly for salaried employees. Our restaurant hours vary by location, with many locations open 24 hours. Uniforms are provided. We promote internal career progression; many leaders started within our restaurants.
Does McDonald’s promote its employees? Definitely. There are no limits to how far or fast you can progress. The minimum age to work is determined by local employment laws and restaurant policy.
