Our Global Space team is a key growth engine of the Defense and Space business, and this position is instrumental to driving international growth as part of our Global Space leadership team.

As a Customer Business Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's success. With your extensive experience in managing strategic accounts, driving revenue growth, and developing new business opportunities, you will contribute to the company's growth, customer satisfaction, and market leadership. You will report directly to the head of Global Space and you'll work out of our Edinburgh location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the company's success by managing and growing a portfolio of strategic accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for customer relationships. You will develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets. By building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their business needs, and providing tailored solutions, you will contribute to customer satisfaction and the overall success of the company. Additionally, you will identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver value-added solutions.

Customer Business Manager - Space Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for customer relationships, including the European Space Agency and the UK Space Agency

• Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions

• Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver value-added solutions

• Lead contract negotiations and ensure customer satisfaction through effective account management

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous growth

• Provide mentorship and guidance to account managers and sales teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar technical field

• Excellent communication and presentation skills in written and spoken English.

• Experience in the Space industry in a business development, sales, and/or operational capacity with a proven track record of success in developing a robust pipeline and generating new business opportunities

• Experience leading and influencing teams in a matrix management environment.

• Ability to travel 30% of time

• Knowledge of the international Space market

• Strong business acumen and strategic analysis experience

• Technical understanding of customer requirements

• Ability to deliver on complex problems without guidance
