Job description

An M&S Customer Assistant's primary responsibility is to provide excellent customer service, engaging with customers to understand their needs and make product recommendations, maintaining store standards, ensuring product availability

Sunday 08:30- 17:30

Key Responsibilities of an M&S Customer Assistant:

Exceptional Customer Service: Delivering a great shopping experience, placing customers before tasks.

Product Knowledge: Having a good understanding of M&S products and services to assist customers.

Proactive Engagement: Engaging with customers to understand their needs and offer recommendations.

Store Maintenance: Maintaining the store's cleanliness, tidiness, and presentation standards.

Sales and Alternatives: Assisting with sales and providing alternatives to the customers where we can.

Digital Skills: Utilizing digital tools to enhance the customer experience.

Teamwork: Working collaboratively with other team members.

Specific Tasks:

Answering customer questions about products and services.

Serving customers at tills, handling returns, and processing refunds.

Unpacking deliveries, stocking shelves, and arranging displays.

Pricing and rotating stock.

Assisting customers with using the Sparks app and in-store devices.
