Summary

From our Head Office to the shop floor and everywhere in between, our primary goal is to create and deliver a fantastic customer journey for everyone who shops at Lidl.

Are you customer obsessed, high energy, and love learning every day? If so, earn £370+ per week as a Customer Assistant on our standard 30-hour contract.

Your role will be varied, working across different shift times, tasks, and with different colleagues.

Note: As a Customer Assistant, you are required to sell alcohol; therefore, you must be 18 or over to work in our store.

Shift Patterns
  • Morning shift: Starting at 5am or 6am, you’ll stock our award-winning products and prepare bakery items for opening time.
  • Middle shift: Starting mid-morning or early afternoon, ensuring store cleanliness, product freshness, assisting customers, and working on tills.
  • Late shift: From your start time in the afternoon, serving customers with a smile, restocking, and preparing the store for the next day.
What you'll do
  • Interact with customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
  • Follow stock loss controls.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Follow freshness and rotation principles.
  • Manage waste correctly.
  • Assist in stock counts.

  • £12.40 per hour, rising to £14.10 after 3 years.

Yearly pay progression

Year 1: Basic £12.40, Unsocial £15.50, Overtime £18.60.

Year 2: Basic £12.80, Unsocial £16.00, Overtime £19.20.

Year 3: Basic £13.40, Unsocial £16.75, Overtime £20.10.

Year 4: Basic £14.10, Unsocial £17.63, Overtime £21.15.
