Sainsbury’s Group in Thorley is seeking store colleagues to deliver outstanding customer service and support daily store operations. You will help customers, stock shelves and use digital tools to improve shopper experiences, while learning about products and promotions.

We value teamwork, reliability and a proactive approach. Various shifts, including evenings and weekends, are available in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced store environment.
• Willingness to work weekends or evenings as required.

Responsibilities

• Putting customers first and making them feel valued through thoughtful, friendly and helpful service.
• Ready to help wherever our customers need you most, whether that's filling shelves, picking orders, serving customers or selling our products.
• Using digital tools to do your job well and enhance customer experience.
• Helping organise and move stock, including keeping shelves tidy and well-presented, and manoeuvring heavy loads to the correct store location.
• Building your knowledge of our products, services and promotions so you can confidently make helpful recommendations to our customers.
• A committed team player, always willing to support colleagues and work together.
• Flexibility and willingness to work across the store and take on new challenges.
• Open to learning, developing and trying new things to improve our service.
• Take pride and ownership in your work, including close attention to detail, maintaining a clean and tidy work space and always looking for ways to make our customer experience better.
