Customer Assistant – Buzz Bingo | Birmingham | 16 Hours Weekly

Buzz Bingo is hiring a Customer Assistant in Birmingham for a part-time role (16 hours per week). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for providing exceptional face-to-face customer service, ideally from a hospitality, retail, or leisure background.

The ideal candidate will bring outstanding communication skills, a warm and engaging personality, and a commitment to delivering a first-class, personalised experience for every guest. As a key team member, you’ll help create a welcoming and fun environment where community and entertainment come together.

About the Role:

Join us as a Customer Assistant in our Kingsbury Road Club offering a 16 hour contract which is fully flexible over 7 days, including evenings and weekends. Please note that the club is open until 2am at the weekend.

The Role You’ll Play

As a Customer Assistant you go above and beyond to provide exceptional service to our Customers. You will do the right thing always by looking after our Customers as caring for people is in our DNA.

Your Responsibilities as Part of Our Team
  • Build rapport and relationships with Customers
  • Be flexible on tasks across all areas of the Club from front of house, book sales, treasury, machines, the bar area and kitchen including, general housekeeping throughout the Club, checking the toilets and ensuring presentation is always to a high standard
  • Support with other duties as requested by the line manager
  • Ensuring you create a Safer Gambling Environment for all our Customers and Colleagues across all of our channels; online, in club and live
The Winning Combination We’re Looking For
  • Experience in delivering first class, personalised customer service in a face-to-face role, preferably in a hospitality, retail or leisure environment
  • Outstanding communication skills that can be adapted to different situations when necessary
  • Experience of handling cash and basic numeracy knowledge
  • You are confident at challenging the way things are done and can make sure all Customers follow our company policies and standards
