Job summary

Sainsbury's Limited seeks a customer-focused store colleague at Hedge End, Southampton. This part-time position offers 30 hours weekly under a fixed-term contract ending 2 January 2027. You will assist customers across duties from shelf replenishment to serving, using digital tools to enhance service.

The availability window below shows when we’d expect you to be available to work during the week. Your shifts will be planned within these times and shared with you three weeks in advance. We support flexible working, so even if your availability isn’t an exact match but is similar, we’d love to hear from you.

• Putting customers first and making them feel valued through thoughtful, friendly and helpful service
• Ready to help wherever our customers need you most, whether that’s filling shelves, picking orders, serving customers or selling our products
• Using and embracing digital tools to do your job well and enhance customer experience
• Helping organise and move stock, including keeping shelves tidy, clean and well-presented, and manoeuvring often heavy loads to the correct store location
• Building your knowledge of our products, services and promotions so you can confidently make helpful recommendations to our customers
