Sainsbury's Limited in Chichester is recruiting for a part-time team member. The role covers 15 hours per week with shifts planned around the availability window, including Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The position is a fixed-term assignment with a end date of 2 January 2027 and a starting pay of £13.23 per hour.

Right to work in the UK is required. You will help store customers, assist with shelves, orders, and stock, and use digital tools to improve service.

Availability Window

The availability window below shows when we’d expect you to be available to work during the week. Your shifts will be planned within these times and shared with you three weeks in advance. We support flexible working, so even if your availability isn’t an exact match but is similar, please apply, we’d love to hear from you.

• Thursday: 12:00 - 20:00
• Friday: 11:00 - 19:00
• Saturday: 14:00 - 22:00

Working in our stores

Our stores are at their busiest during the festive season, when customers are counting on us to help make this magical time of year truly special. To get our store teams ready, we have both permanent and fixed-term vacancies available so please check the contract type above before applying to make sure it is the right role for you.

• If the Availability Window includes shifts before 6.00am or after 11.00pm, you will need to be aged 18 or over

What you’ll be doing

• Putting customers first and making them feel valued through thoughtful, friendly and helpful service
• Ready to help wherever our customers need you most, whether that’s filling shelves, picking orders, serving customers or selling our products
• Using and embracing digital tools to do your job well and enhance customer experience
• Helping organise and move stock, including keeping shelves tidy, clean and well-presented, and manoeuvring often heavy loads to the correct store location
• Building your knowledge of our products, services and promotions so you can confidently make helpful recommendations to our customers
