Job summary

Sainsbury's Limited is hiring for a part‑time Fixed‑Term Assignment at our Shrewsbury store. You’ll work 12 hours per week with a schedule that includes early morning shifts; the contract ends 2 January 2027. You’ll help customers, stock shelves, and use digital tools to enhance service quality.

The role requires Right to Work in the UK and a flexible approach to shifts. You’ll be part of a busy festive-season team delivering friendly, efficient service.

What you’ll be doing

• Putting customers first and making them feel valued through thoughtful, friendly and helpful service
• Ready to help wherever our customers need you most, whether that’s filling shelves, picking orders, serving customers or selling our products
• Using and embracing digital tools to do your job well and enhance customer experience
• Helping organise and move stock, including keeping shelves tidy, clean and well-presented, and manoeuvring often heavy loads to the correct store location
• Building your knowledge of our products, services and promotions so you can confidently make helpful recommendations to our customers
