Job description

Posts are permanent with 1 fixed term post until 31/03/2026.

4x Alternate Saturdays 9:50-14:05 (2.07 hours per week equivalent)

6x Hours as required with preference for Saturday availability (Casual)



This is an exciting opportunity to join Community Hubs and Libraries within our City Operations, Neighbourhoods and Regulatory Services.



You will be responsible for providing a frontline service to customers in our libraries and partnership buildings across the City which will include evening and weekend working.



You should be experienced in working in a customer focused environment and have the ability to actively promote services, including online whilst resolving customer enquiries. You should have excellent communication and customer service skills. You will also be expected to deliver story times and support customers with digital services.



You will be required to work flexibly across all sites which will include working evenings to 7:00pm and weekend working on a rota basis.
