Role Details

The hourly rate for this role is £11.44 and up to £12.02 across selected locations within London. The hourly rate will increase after 6 months in role.

Joining us as a Customer Advisor is a great opportunity, whether it’s your first job and you’re looking to gain some valuable experience, or you have experience with retail and you’re looking for a new challenge. This could be the start of a new career with us.

About the role

You will work onsite and report to the Assistant or Store Manager. Your role may include helping on the tills, advising customers, or working in our back shop. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Helping customers and putting them at ease; listening to their needs, answering questions, providing advice on products, recommending items, or offering baskets — the little things that make a difference.
  2. Familiarizing yourself with our in-store offers and schemes and promoting them to customers.
  3. Ensuring the store runs smoothly by displaying the right products, providing excellent service at the tills, and assisting with stock management in the stock rooms.
  4. Collaborating with team members to provide a positive shopping experience and maintaining the store’s cleanliness and presentation.
What you’ll need to have

Full training will be provided. We are looking for candidates who:

  1. Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  2. Communicate and listen effectively.
  3. Enjoy working collaboratively within a team.
  4. Understand that small details can significantly enhance customer interactions.
  5. Take pride in representing the Boots brand and helping customers find suitable products.
Preferred but not essential

Experience in customer care and service delivery is advantageous but not required.
