Job summary

B&Q Liverpool Shopping Park is seeking a Customer Advisor on a part-time, fixed-term basis for 3 months. You will be the go-to person for customers, helping them with home improvement projects and product selections.

The role involves stock control, setting up displays and delivering friendly, knowledgeable service. Training in paint-mixing and timber cutting may be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing, with a passion for helping customers.
• Willing to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
• Comfortable working on a rota including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and drive sales while maintaining stock levels.
• Set up displays and ensure the store looks inviting.
• Support training in paint-mixing and timber cutting as applicable.

Shifts available Monday - Sunday, 6.00am - 10.00pm

UK Notional hourly rate £13.10 per hour

What's the job?

Join our team, and you’ll become an expert advisor. An inspiration as well as a guide. The person who gets to know every customer and their home improvement projects. Sales will be important, of course, as will things like managing stock, setting up displays, and making sure your store looks great. You’ll have the opportunity to be trained in paint-mixing and cutting timber, but truly great customer service will be your main aim.

What we need:

Happy to help, eager to learn and just a little bit obsessed with home improvement, you’ll be right at home with us. You’re friendly and outgoing, and you get a buzz from helping others. You’ll be happy to expand your skills by using new technology and learning new ways of working. You’re great at working in a team too, and flexible enough to work on a rota that includes weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
