B&Q Aylesbury is hiring a Customer Advisor for a part-time role of 15-18 hours per week. Shifts run Monday to Sunday, 7:00am–10:00pm, with a UK notional hourly rate of £13.10. You will help customers, handle stock, set up displays and learn paint-mixing and timber cutting.

A friendly, team-oriented approach is essential. You’ll be trained in product knowledge and customer service, with flexible rota requirements including weekends and bank holidays.

What's the job?Join our team, and you’ll become an expert advisor. An inspiration as well as a guide. The person who gets to know every customer and their home improvement projects. Sales will be important, of course, as will things like managing stock, setting up displays, and making sure your store looks great. You’ll have the opportunity to be trained in paint-mixing and cutting timber, but truly great customer service will be your main aim.

What We NeedHappy to help, eager to learn and just a little bit obsessed with home improvement, you’ll be right at home with us. You’re friendly and outgoing, and you get a buzz from helping others. You’ll be happy to expand your skills by using new technology and learning new ways of working.
