At M Group Telecom, we’re enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech enabled future.

We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators.

This role will be within ourprivate networks. We find the best technology, manage assets and refresh systems. With 24/7 network operations, we keep things running smoothly, while operating comprehensive network repair and maintenance to keep everything in top shape.

What will you be doing?

Based in Coventry, you’ll serve as the primary point of contact for Cyber Security within a customer account. This role encompasses governance, compliance, technical leadership, and oversight of cybersecurity practices. You will be responsible for ensuring vulnerabilities are effectively managed, risks are mitigated, and all security-related activities are conducted in line with the highest standards. Collaborating across teams, you will lead efforts to maintain robust security frameworks and ensure compliance for all services provided.

You’ll be working with our key suppliers, the customer and relevant MGroup technical SMEs to fulfil Customer Governance and Leadership, Vulnerability Management, Governance and Reporting, Device and System Management, Risk Ownership & Technical Leadership.

What you’ll bring

  • You’ll join with proven experience in cybersecurity leadership, particularly in customer-facing roles.
  • You’ll have strong knowledge of vulnerability management, PEN testing, and risk mitigation.
  • You’ll bring expertise in network security, device management, and cybersecurity governance.
  • You’ll be familiar with tools and practices for PUAM/UAM implementations.
  • Exceptional communication and reporting skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management experience.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH.
  • Experience with CMDB systems and device lifecycle management.
  • Ideally you will have knowledge of compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST standards.
