Job summary

ISS STOXX Governance is seeking a Corporate Governance Research Analyst to join its Custom team in London. You will provide governance expertise and customized deliverables to clients, developing policies and tailored reports, including annual policy matrices and gap analyses.

You will use Policy Engine alongside analyst insight to craft vote recommendations and help clients implement evolving governance programs for institutional investors across Europe.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Law and/or Finance, Economics/Politics or equivalent through experience.
• Strong analytical abilities and comfort with ambiguity.
• Excellent English writing and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Issue proxy vote recommendations and rationale based on client-specific proxy voting guidelines.
• Gather corporate governance data from public documents.
• Engage with institutional investors to update or formulate guidelines.
• Complete client-specific projects and support team in research.
• Contribute to seasonal reviews, client calls, and research reports.
• Interact with internal and external parties to discuss policies and recommendations.
• Collaborate with Corporate Technology to enhance applications used by clients.
