Job summary

Mitie Group plc. in the United Kingdom is seeking a Custody Healthcare Team Lead to guide a small team of healthcare professionals in custody suites, ensuring accurate assessments and the wellbeing of detainees.

You will oversee rostering, supervision, and performance appraisals, working with the Clinical Lead to meet National Clinical Governance Standards and custody-specific needs. Training is provided throughout the role.

Qualifications

• Qualified RN Adult, RMN (dual registration), RGNs or Paramedics.
• Minimum of 12 months custody experience and 3 years post-qualification experience.
• 3 years UK residency required.
• Full driving licence with no restrictions for travel to custody suites or hospitals.
• subject to police vetting checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of HCPs providing detained individuals with accurate assessments and care.
• Manage rosters, supervise and appraise staff, and coordinate with Clinical Lead to meet governance standards.
