Located at the heart of the Marches, the historic border countryside where England meets Wales, Herefordshire is one of the most rural counties in England. The post sits within a Built Heritage team which includes a Curtilage Assessment Officer and Building Conservation working alongside a wider heritage service of Archaeologists and a Historic Environment Record Officer, and sits within the planning department.
