About the Role:
Our client, a nationally recognised provider of high-quality vocational and technical education, is currently seeking an experienced and motivated individual to support the development and delivery of Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs) in Quantity Surveying and Construction Site Supervision. This position involves creating curriculum content and delivering teaching through a flexible hybrid model.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design of innovative and industry-aligned educational resources that meet the evolving standards of the construction sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive and up-to-date curriculum content for Quantity Surveying and Construction Site Supervision HTQs, with a focus on areas such as contract and conveyancing law, construction finance, and software tools like AutoCAD and BIM.
Design course materials, lesson plans, assessments, and learner support resources in line with HTQ frameworks.
Collaborate with academic and curriculum development teams to ensure content meets qualification standards and employer expectations.
Deliver engaging training sessions, lectures, and workshops through remote or hybrid formats.
Manage version control and maintain documentation for all curriculum materials.
Tailor content to suit a diverse learner audience and integrate modern digital delivery tools.
Essential Requirements:
A degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Sound understanding of HTQs and current construction industry standards and practices.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
Awareness of the professional knowledge and skills expected of Quantity Surveyors and Construction Site Supervisors.
Desirable:
Experience teaching or training within higher or further education settings.
Proven background in curriculum design or development of technical/vocational learning materials.
