Job description

We are seeking to appoint a Curriculum Support Co-Ordinator, to support our team of Curriculum & Quality Managers and Additional Learner Support staff in driving forward continuous improvements in teaching, learning and assessment.

This is an ideal opportunity for anyone who is wishing to progress their career in education.

What I might be doing?

  • Youwill support the professional development of tutors and additional learner support staff including monitoring and evaluating performance.
  • You will be involved in the management of our Additional Learner Support Team to drive up standards to ensure no learner is left behind.
  • You will design and develop courses across key employment sectors, responding to local and district needs and be able to model good teaching and learning practise.
  • On occasion, some teaching cover may be required.
  • You will act as part of the Safeguarding Team.

Requirements:

  • Full level 4/5 teaching qualification (Cert Ed, PGCE or DTLLS) or equivalent, extensive experience
  • Evidence of continuous professional development related to pre/post 16 sector.
  • Maths and English qualification at L2 or above
