Job Title: Curriculum Operations Manager

Job Summary
The Curriculum Operations Manager will ensure the effective planning, tracking, and execution of curriculum projects across Baltic's apprenticeship programmes. This role will oversee the delivery of both instructor-led and self-directed learning content in line with agreed milestones, governance, and sign-off processes.
Acting as a key operational lead, you will manage and coordinate curriculum development efforts, oversee documentation systems, and support the successful delivery of curriculum launches and updates. The role will also include line management responsibilities, supporting the performance and development of team members involved in curriculum and content creation.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in educational project operations, excellent coordination and organisational skills, and a keen eye for detail and process.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Curriculum Refresh Coordination
- Coordinate the delivery of the curriculum refresh programme across multiple standards and delivery models
- Develop and manage project plans for each pathway refresh, working closely with curriculum designers, developers and subject matter experts
- Track progress against timelines and report status, risks, and dependencies
- Ensure refreshed content is reviewed, signed off, and prepared for deployment on schedule
2. Curriculum Project Oversight
- Track and manage timelines and deliverables for all curriculum build, refresh, and launch activity
- Ensure all content (self-study and instructor-led) is delivered to scope, quality standards and agreed deadlines
- Maintain a live curriculum delivery dashboard to monitor progress and risk.
3. Workflow & Process Management
- Oversee the curriculum sign-off and governance process
- Embed and optimise workflows for curriculum creation, review, and approval
- Support cross-functional collaboration between curriculum teams, SMEs, designers, and product managers
4. People & Stakeholder Management
- Provide line management support to relevant team members involved in curriculum delivery
- Coordinate inputs from stakeholders including subject leads, delivery, sales, and quality assurance
- Act as the primary operational contact for curriculum status and delivery updates
- Manage resource allocation and plan future workload
5. Version Control & Documentation
- Ensure accurate version control of all curriculum materials and maintain a centralised, structured content library
- Embed document management practices to ensure curriculum assets are current and accessible
6. Feedback & Continuous Improvement
- Manage the curriculum feedback intake process, ensuring timely resolution and documentation of actions
- Use feedback insights to inform curriculum updates and contribute to continuous improvement cycles
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in operations management, academic programme delivery, or project management
- Strong planning and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines
- Experience managing workflows, document control, and collaborative content creation processes
- Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management abilities
