Job description

We are looking for a Curriculum Manager - Digital & Professional Enterprises at Buckinghamshire College Group, to lead a dynamic and industry focused team delivering consistently high-quality learning experiences for our Business and Computing students. Based at our Aylesbury Campus the successful candidate will demonstrate experience of managing and leading creative professionals, whilst also having a thorough understanding of the opportunities vocational education offers young people. A keen and up-to-date knowledge of the Business and Computing sectors is key.

The successful candidate will be innovative and focused to ensure our students develop the skills needed to be competitive in the burgeoning business and computing sectors. As Curriculum Manager you will be central to the development and delivery of the exciting curriculum offer, whilst supporting your team to drive continual improvement in careers focused education.

You will work collaboratively with a diverse team to continue to raise the profile, achievement and impact of the creative and business curriculum areas so that students gain the Bucks College Factor to be successful in life and work.

Key knowledge, skills and experience we are looking for:

  • Confident leader with a laser like focus on driving quality improvements in the teaching, learning and assessment of the area
  • Ability to collaborate with students, colleagues and employers to design an exciting, creative, innovative and future-proofed curriculum
  • Specialist knowledge and experience of Business and/or Computing education
  • Experience of delivering and/or managing vocational education

The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Deliver excellent student success through operational leadership and management of the areas provision.
  • Lead quality improvements to continue to develop a high performing team of staff
  • Manage student issues and track and monitor student attainment
  • Plan and implement the colleges strategies around curriculum reform in the FE sector
