Job summary

The Sheffield College is seeking an experienced education professional to lead the Technical/Skills curriculum across a designated programme area. The post focuses on growth, improved outcomes, and successful programme delivery within a college environment.

The role requires a strong teaching record, curriculum design expertise, and familiarity with college funding, OFSTED, safeguarding, and Equality and Diversity legislation.

Qualifications

• Experience of leading Technical/Skills curriculum for aprogramme or curriculum area.
• Has led a programme and achieved improvements in growth andoutcomes, achieving targets.
• Experience ofdelivering change within a programme or curriculum.
• Experienceof curriculum design to improve outcomes/destinations.
• Strong track record as ateacher.
• Has worked in similarenvironments. Proven ability to succeed in this type of environment,working with similar systems and processes.
• Strong record of enablingstaff to achieve their best performance.
• Degree Level Qualification orrelevant work experience or professional qualification
• Cert Ed, PGCE or equivalent level teachingqualification
• Level 2 English and MathsQualification or Equivalent
• Knowledge of the collegelandscape including relating to college funding, technical educationqualifications and OFSTED.
• Working knowledge and experience of safeguarding and Equality andDiversity legislation
