The Role:

Leading the strategic direction of the Science department

Coaching and mentoring colleagues across all key stages

Driving academic progress and raising attainment

Key Responsibilities

Develop Science curriculameeting national standards and school objectives

Lead departmental CPDthrough coaching, observations, and INSET

Monitor teaching qualityvia book scrutiny and lesson walkthroughs

Analyse performance datato implement targeted interventions

Manage health & safetyprotocols including risk assessments
