The Role:

  • Leading the strategic direction of the Science department
  • Coaching and mentoring colleagues across all key stages
  • Driving academic progress and raising attainment
  • Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Science curriculameeting national standards and school objectives
  • Lead departmental CPDthrough coaching, observations, and INSET
  • Monitor teaching qualityvia book scrutiny and lesson walkthroughs
  • Analyse performance datato implement targeted interventions
  • Manage health & safetyprotocols including risk assessments
