Sir William Stanier School is seeking an ambitious and inspirational teacher to lead Performing Arts, delivering high-quality Drama and developing a vibrant productions programme within the school.
You will inspire students, motivate colleagues and drive a creative and inclusive Performing Arts curriculum, including extra-curricular opportunities and performances across the school community.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and inspirational teacher to lead Performing Arts at Sir William Stanier School. The successful candidate will lead Drama and Music, deliver high-quality Drama teaching and develop a vibrant programme of productions, performances and extra-curricular opportunities.
We are looking for someone who can inspire students, motivate colleagues and ensure that all young people have the opportunity to participate, achieve and develop their confidence and creativity through the Performing Arts.
Lead and develop Drama and Music across the school.
Deliver engaging and high-quality Drama lessons.
Lead school productions, performances and showcases.
Support and develop colleagues within Performing Arts.
Monitor student progress and drive improvements in teaching and learning.
Develop an ambitious and inclusive extra-curricular programme.
Contribute positively to the wider life of the school and key school events.
Relevant degree and QTS.
Strong experience of teaching Drama and/or Performing Arts.
Excellent subject knowledge and high expectations for students.
Experience of leading productions or performance events.
Strong leadership, organisation and communication skills.
A passion for Performing Arts and developing opportunities for young people.
