Job summary

Activate Learning is seeking a Curriculum Lead for Academic Studies based at Reading College. You will support the Curriculum Manager and collaborate with a second Curriculum Lead to raise teaching quality, student outcomes and employability across A Levels, T Levels, Business, Science and more.

You will inspire and lead Faculty teams to deliver an exciting curriculum, ensuring learners have an outstanding experience and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Be an inspirational teacher with a teaching qualification and a track record of planning and delivering good/outstanding teaching and learning.
• Demonstrate leading-edge practice in delivering teaching and learning.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead and influence staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the implementation and delivery of the curriculum in line with the Learning Philosophy and learner journey.
• Develop teachers and assessors to improve team performance and student outcomes.
• Work with Faculty Co-ordinators to ensure high quality planning and compliant administration.
• Undertaking up to 11 hours teaching per week.
