About The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Curriculum Lead to join our team, delivering high-quality teaching, learning and assessment to support our learners in achieving their full potential.
Reporting to the Curriculum Manager for English, you will play a key role in ensuring learners quality of education is exceptional and that they are supported to achieve and exceed their potential. You will drive high expectations and aspirations for the defined area of provision.
This position includes scheduled teaching duties, for no more than 720 hours between 1 September and the following 31 August.
You'll play a key role in designing and delivering engaging, inclusive lessons that meet curriculum standards and reflect industry needs.
You'll contribute to curriculum development, provide academic and pastoral support to learners, and work closely with colleagues and external partners to ensure an outstanding learning experience. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire the next generation and help shape the future workforce of our city.
Requirements
Must-Have:
- Hold a relevant teaching qualification or willing to obtain
- Hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in the relevant subject area
- Evidence continuing professional development
- Teaching experience in the relevant subject area
- Experience of improving learner outcomes and quality of education
Nice-to-Have
- Application of quality improvement and assurance processes, including internal verification
- Successful course and curriculum development
- Experience in improving learner outcomes and quality of education
