We seek a Curriculum Innovation Lead in Science who will oversee our Key Stage 5 vocational science provision. Currently, this includes a BTEC Level 3 Award, with a focus on leading the introduction of a T Level or similar vocational qualification in Science. The role also includes responsibilities as the Quality Nominee for vocational studies within the school.
The ideal candidate will bring commitment and expertise to our curriculum, supporting and teaching students across all key stages. Professional development opportunities will be provided to support your career stage.
The Science Department is well-established, with a strong record of attainment, particularly among students taking three separate sciences at GCSE. The team is cohesive and dedicated, capable of teaching general science at Key Stage 3 and their specialism at Key Stage 4, whether in triple or combined Science groups. The department offers a diverse A Level curriculum, leading vocational science within LaSWAP, and collaborates with the CRICK Institute and various London universities and museums for enrichment activities.
