Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Curriculum Faculty Leader (MFL) located in the Greater Leicester Area. The Curriculum Faculty Leader will be responsible for overseeing the MFL (Modern Foreign Languages) curriculum, developing and implementing innovative teaching strategies, and ensuring a high standard of education. Additional responsibilities include mentoring and supporting staff, monitoring student progress, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance the curriculum. This role requires a strong commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience and proficiency in teaching Modern Foreign Languages (e.g., Spanish, French, Mandarin)
• Skills in curriculum development, innovative teaching strategies, and educational leadership
• Proven track record of mentoring and supporting teaching staff
• Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a diverse educational environment
• Knowledge of educational best practices and commitment to continuous professional development
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Modern Foreign Languages, or related field
