Job description

This curriculum leadership post sits in the English team at Calderdale College, supporting the Head of Faculty in a large department that also covers Maths, ESOL and Community Learning. The postholder line manages teachers and support staff delivering GCSE English and Functional Skills, with the aim of raising the quality of teaching, learning and assessment. It is a 35-hour role in a growing portfolio, with a remit to keep high achievement rates while driving improvement across the faculty. An Enhanced DBS check applies to the appointment.
