Job description

Chichester College Group has an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Curriculum Administrative Assistant based in Brinsbury.

You will join us on a part-time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary pro rata of £24,405 - £24,502 (i.e., £9,762 - £9,800.80) per annum.

The Curriculum Administrative Assistant Role

As our Curriculum Administrative Assistant, you will provide a comprehensive administrative service to the curriculum area teams to support effective delivery of the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities of Our Curriculum Administrative Assistant
  • To liaise with internal departments regarding all student-related data to enable the curriculum area team to meet the requirements of the College.
  • To provide administrative support to the curriculum area team to ensure effective operation, including maintaining accurate records and efficient filing systems.
  • To assist in developing systems, processes, and procedures for the area’s effective operation.
  • To handle enquiries from students, employers, colleagues, parents, and external organisations to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • To input data into College systems, assist with student tracking, and maintain related paperwork.
  • To coordinate the input and management of student qualifications, enrolments, registrations, and claims.
  • To assist with scheduling hours for academic staff and input information into the Payroll system.
  • To organize area events such as parents’ evenings and open evenings, including appointment setting, communication, and logistics.
  • To manage financial administration related to orders and cash handling.
  • To provide general administrative support within the Directorate as needed.
Our ideal Curriculum Administrative Assistant should have the following skills and experience:
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a diverse range of people.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines.
  • Level 2 qualification in Information Technology or Administration.
  • GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade C or above.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Experience working in an office environment.
  • Experience in an administrative role.
  • Experience in a customer-focused environment.
